Animalife Vetrofen Intense is a fast acting, super strength, targeted supplement containing a natural antioxidant blend that targets comfort and recovery in joints and muscles. Vetrofen Intense has been scientifically formulated to help horses and ponies that require support in dealing with intense activity, the natural ageing process and recovery. Use before and after periods of physical stress or intense activity. Great for joints, muscles, ligaments, and tendons when used daily starting with a loading serve. Vetrofen Intense does not contain Devil's Claw and is free from banned substances making it safe to use with the performance horse.

Vetrofen Intense is a proprietary blend of Scutellaria baicalensis and Acacia catechu. These plants have been used in foods and health products for thousands of years in other countries, especially in Japan and China. The two key ingredients in Vetrofen Intense have been studied extensively around the world and are recognized for their ability to support the body’s natural inflammatory response as well as being potent antioxidants and free radical scavengers that are fast acting, effective and safe.

Vetrofen Intense is for short or long term support. It can be used daily when mixed into the horse’s normal feed or specifically during intense periods with the Intense Instant syringes, such as before, during and after competition.

We endeavour to post out your goods the same day they are ordered; however, in busy periods this can take a little longer.

UK Orders

  • Standard UK delivery is £3.95 or free over £50
  • UK Mainland orders over £50 receive free delivery
  • UK Mainland Next Day Delivery is £7.95 (order must be placed before 3pm Monday to Thursday)
  • UK Saturday Delivery is £11.50 (order must be placed before 3pm on Friday)
  • UK Sunday Delivery is £11.50 (order must be placed before 3pm on Friday)
  • UK Non-Mainland Delivery is £3.95 under £50 or £8.50 over £50
  • Smaller items are posted Tracked 48 with Royal Mail and usually take 1-4 days from point of order to arrive
  • Large, heavy or multiple items are delivered by DPD (signature required)

UK Next Day Delivery

  • A next day delivery service is available to the majority of mainland UK at a cost of £7.95. Orders must be placed before 3pm to qualify for Next Day delivery. Orders placed after 3pm on next day delivery will be dispatched the following day on a Next Day delivery service.
  • Saturday and Sunday delivery are £11.50 and available to most UK Mainland postcodes (excludes Highlands). Orders must be placed by 3pm on Friday, please note our courier cannot collect on a Saturday so Sunday orders must also be placed by 3pm on Friday.
  • Postcodes ineligible for Next Day/Saturday Delivery – All Northern Ireland and the Channel Islands, AB31-56, F17-21, G83, GY9, HS1-9, IM, IV, KA27-28, KW0-17, PA20-78, PH15-99, TR21-25, ZE.

International Orders

  • Standard Europe delivery is £9.50
  • Standard Worldwide delivery is £25.00
  • Standard delivery prices for overseas orders are estimates only and in exceptional circumstances, we may not be able to fulfil your order for the quoted price due to volume or weight restrictions, if this is the case you will be contacted by email

Returns Policy

The following is a quick guide to our returns policy:

  • You have 28 days to return a non-sale item to us; items must be in their original packaging, unworn and not damaged. A full refund or exchange will be given.
  • You have 14 days to return a sale item to us for a full refund; items must be in their original packaging, unworn and not damaged. A full refund or exchange will be given.
  • We offer an extended period of returns at Christmas for goods purchased as Christmas presents. Last return date for Christmas presents is January 14th.
  • You must make your own arrangements to return goods to us and all postage costs are to be covered by you unless the goods are deemed faulty

  • You have 28 days to return a non-sale item to us; items must be in their original packaging (all tags attached), unworn and not damaged. A full refund or exchange will be given.
  • You have 14 days to return a sale item to us for a full refund; you then have a further 7 days in which you can return the item but no refund can be given - you will be offered either an exchange or credit note (valid for 12 months).
  • If an item is faulty on arrival you have 14 days in which to contact us for a full refund or exchange. If an item is faulty you will be sent a postage label to return the item to us at no expense to yourself. Please contact us to advise of the fault and request a postage label. We regret we cannot reimburse your postage costs if you choose not to use a pre-paid label. Items deemed faulty after this period will be dealt with on a case by case basis in consultation with manufacturers.
  • If a parcel looks damaged on arrival do not sign for it; instead refuse the parcel as damaged during posting.
  • We offer an extended period of returns at Christmas for goods purchased as Christmas presents.

All orders will contain a returns form, please follow the instructions on this form to return an item.

You must make your own arrangements to return goods to us and all postage costs are to be covered by you unless the goods are deemed faulty. We recommend that you obtain proof of postage as Horse Direct cannot be held responsible for any items lost during transit back to us.
