The Neue Schule Tranz Angled Lozenge Universal Bit is a very useful all rounder that offers control without severity. The Tranz Angled Universal is ideal for faster work as it promte quick and easy turning and helps to eliminate head tossing during downward transitions and the lengthening and shortening of strides in between fences.

This Neue Schule Universal Bit is useful if upgrading from a snaffle as you are keeping a mild mouthpiece but subtly employing other pressure points to encourage better control. There are four rein options on this Neue Schule Bit including the curb strap and pelham roundings. The Neue Schule Tranz mouthpiece features an angled lozenge that is ergonomically designed for both comfort in the mouth and improved communication. The patented tranz angled lozenge encourages a true contact and higher level of responsiveness and is set at a unique 20' angle. Having the lozenge at this angle activates more feel over the tongue, so when a contact is taken the rounded lozenge rolls down contouring smoothly over the tongues thicker, less sensitive centre. This utilizes the feel of the contact without abusing it, thereby enabling clearly defined aids to be given through the reins. The Neue Schule Universal can be worn using a Neue Schule Leather Curb Strap.

Neue Schule Bits have mouthpieces made from Salox Gold. This gives Neue Schule Bits a unique combination of excellent thermal conductivity and a sweet taste that delivers a comfortable experience to the horse and encourages them to be more relaxed in the mouth and accepting of the bit.

UK Orders

  • Standard UK delivery is £3.95 or free over £50
  • UK Mainland orders over £50 receive free delivery
  • UK Mainland Next Day Delivery is £7.95 (order must be placed before 3pm Monday to Thursday)
  • UK Saturday Delivery is £11.50 (order must be placed before 3pm on Friday)
  • UK Sunday Delivery is £11.50 (order must be placed before 3pm on Friday)
  • UK Non-Mainland delivery is £8.50
  • Smaller items are posted Tracked 48 with Royal Mail and usually take 1-4 days from point of order to arrive
  • Large, heavy or multiple items are delivered by DPD (signature required)

UK Next Day Delivery

  • A next day delivery service is available to the majority of mainland UK at a cost of £7.95. Orders must be placed before 3pm to qualify for Next Day delivery. Orders placed after 3pm on next day delivery will be dispatched the following day on a Next Day delivery service.
  • Saturday and Sunday delivery is £11.50 and available to most UK Mainland postcodes (excludes Highlands). Orders must be placed by 3pm on Friday, please note our courier cannot collect on a Saturday so Sunday orders must also be placed by 3pm on Friday.

Returns Policy

  • You have 28 days to return a non-sale item to us; items must be in their original packaging, unworn and not damaged. A full refund or exchange will be given.
  • You have 14 days to return a sale item to us for a full refund; items must be in their original packaging, unworn and not damaged. A full refund or exchange will be given.
  • We offer an extended period of returns at Christmas for goods purchased as Christmas presents. Last return date for Christmas presents is January 14th.
  • You must make your own arrangements to return goods to us and all postage costs are to be covered by you unless the goods are deemed faulty

  • You have 14 days to return a sale item to us for a full refund; you then have a further 7 days in which you can return the item but no refund can be given - you will be offered either an exchange or credit note (valid for 12 months).
  • If an item is faulty on arrival you have 14 days in which to contact us for a full refund or exchange. If an item is faulty you will be sent a postage label to return the item to us at no expense to yourself. Please contact us to advise of the fault and request a postage label. We regret we cannot reimburse your postage costs if you choose not to use a pre-paid label. Items deemed faulty after this period will be dealt with on a case by case basis in consultation with manufacturers.
  • If a parcel looks damaged on arrival do not sign for it; instead refuse the parcel as damaged during posting.
  • We offer an extended period of returns at Christmas for goods purchased as Christmas presents.

All orders will contain a returns form, please follow the instructions on this form to return an item.

You must make your own arrangements to return goods to us and all postage costs are to be covered by you unless the goods are deemed faulty. We recommend that you obtain proof of postage as Horse Direct cannot be held responsible for any items lost during transit back to us.
