The PS Of Sweden Pioneer Bridle has a unique dropped noseband where we have solved the problems that often occur on the traditional models.

The noseband's height is adjustable to guaranteed perfect fit and avoids putting pressure on the sensitive Infraorbital nerve at the horse's cheekbone. The cross-sectional design of the noseband, the risk of the cheekpieces being too close to the eyes of the horse is minimized. In the noseband´s highest position, it works as an English noseband but with Pioneer's other benefits including rawhide on the inside to help hold its shape and built-in soft pillow to increase the noseband's stability.

The patented headpiece is softly padded and leaves plenty of room for the ears to move freely while the cheekpieces have patented and optional elastic Cradles™, which allows the bit to suspend in the horse’s mouth, help to evenly the pressure across the poll and are designed so you can easily hook them on and off.

The Pioneer bridle is made in eco-friendly vegetable-tanned leather and is suitable for jumping, dressage and eventing. Approved to compete with by both FEI, USEF/USDF  in dressage, jumping and cross country as long as the noseband is closed traditionally.

Note for BD on horse and pony the bridle must be used with a throatlash.

UK Orders

  • Standard UK delivery is £3.95 or free over £75*
  • UK Mainland orders over £75 receive free delivery*
  • UK Mainland Royal Mail Express is £5.95 and is a 1-3 day service.
  • UK Mainland Next Day Delivery is £7.95 (order must be placed before 3pm Monday to Thursday to qualify)
  • UK Saturday Delivery is £11.50 (order must be placed before 3pm on Friday)
  • UK Sunday Delivery is £11.50 (order must be placed before 3pm on Friday)
  • UK Non-Mainland Delivery is £3.95 under £50 or £8.50 over £50 - Please note DPD is suspending delivery to Northern Ireland from 23/12/2020 this effect high-value items and heavy items.
  • Smaller items are posted Tracked 48 with Royal Mail and usually take 1-4 days from point of order to arrive
  • *Some items have to be sent via courier due to delivery restriction such as heavy items and aerosols
  • Large, heavy or multiple items are delivered by DPD (signature required). IMPORTANT INFORMATION: 23rd March 2020 - Please note that DPD is no longer offering the collection from your local store service. You will also no longer be able to change the destination of a parcel once it has been dispatched. Please use an address suitable for your goods to get to you.

UK Next Day Delivery

  • A next day delivery service is available to the majority of mainland UK at a cost of £7.95. Orders must be placed before 3pm Monday - Thursday to qualify for Next Day delivery excluding Bank Holiday's which will be shipped the next working day. Orders placed after 3pm on next day delivery will be dispatched the following day on a Next Day delivery service. Orders placed after 3pm Friday and over the weekend will be collected on Monday for delivery Tuesday.
  • IMPORTANT INFORMATION: 23rd March 2020 - Please note that DPD is no longer offering the collection from your local store service. You will also no longer be able to change the destination of a parcel once it has been dispatched. Please use an address suitable for your goods to get to you.
  • Saturday and Sunday delivery are £11.50 and available to most UK Mainland postcodes (excludes Highlands). Orders must be placed by 3pm on Friday, please note our courier cannot collect on a Saturday so Sunday orders must also be placed by 3pm on Friday.
  • Postcodes ineligible for Next Day/Saturday Delivery – All Northern Ireland and the Channel Islands, AB31-56, F17-21, G83, GY9, HS1-9, IM, IV, KA27-28, KW0-17, PA20-78, PH15-99, TR21-25, ZE.

International Orders

  • Standard Europe delivery is currently not available.
  • Standard Worldwide delivery is £25.00

Returns Policy

  • You have 28 days to return a non-sale item to us; items must be in their original packaging, unworn and not damaged. A full refund or exchange will be given.
  • You have 14 days to return a sale item to us for a full refund; items must be in their original packaging, unworn and not damaged. A full refund or exchange will be given.
  • You must make your own arrangements to return goods to us and all postage costs are to be covered by you unless the goods are deemed faulty

The following is a quick guide to our returns policy:

  • You have 28 days to return a non-sale item to us; items must be in their original packaging (all tags attached), unworn and not damaged. A full refund or exchange will be given.
  • You have 14 days to return a sale item to us for a full refund; you then have a further 7 days in which you can return the item but no refund can be given - you will be offered either an exchange or credit note (valid for 12 months).
  • If an item is faulty on arrival you have 14 days in which to contact us for a full refund or exchange. If an item is faulty you will be sent a postage label to return the item to us at no expense to yourself. Please contact us to advise of the fault and request a postage label. We regret we cannot reimburse your postage costs if you choose not to use a pre-paid label. Items deemed faulty after this period will be dealt with on a case by case basis in consultation with manufacturers.
  • If a parcel looks damaged on arrival do not sign for it; instead, refuse the parcel as damaged during posting.

All orders will contain a returns form, please follow the instructions on this form to return an item.

You must make your own arrangements to return goods to us and all postage costs are to be covered by you unless the goods are deemed faulty. We recommend that you obtain proof of postage as Horse Direct cannot be held responsible for any items lost during transit back to us.
